Even better (and this really is AWESOME), Foyle's is going to have an exhibition of Jim Kay's artwork from the book plus more from 21 January - 3 February, and I'm hoping he'll be appearing with me at the event, too! Check it out.

And I've just confirmed that I'm on a panel at this year's Oxford Literature Festival on 24 March, with the very cool writers Tim Bowler, Sally Nicholls and Moira Young. If you're in the area, check us out.
First up, is the Edinburgh Book Festival, where I'm doing three events: two on Saturday, 20 August (a solo one on A Monster Calls and one on the Guardian Award with Andy Stanton) and one on Sunday, 21 August (about dystopias). Tickets available here.
Then on 7 September, I'm appearing with Meg Rosoff in the Schools Programme of the Mountains to Sea Festival in Dublin. Info here.

I'm coming to Dublin in May and will be having a public event at the big Eason's Bookstore there on the evening of 12 May at 6.30 pm, in conversation with the fabulous Sarah Webb. Tickets are FREE but you do need to get one by calling 01-8583800 (in Ireland). More details here.

I'll be taking a whirlwind trip to America in Sep/Oct 2010. I'm afraid I can't be everywhere, but I'll be a few great places and would love to meet you. I'll try to catch the rest of you on another trip.
MINNESOTA - The big thing I'm coming for is the brilliant Red Hot Rebel Read project at Champlin Park High School, just north of Minneapolis, where I'll be doing tons of events with the students there (2800 of them, all of whom are reading Knife!). Part of it includes a public event at the school on 30 September at 7:00pm, so it'd be great if you'd like to come along.
I shall also be signing books at the Red Balloon Bookshop on Grand Street in St Paul on Saturday, 2 October from 12-1pm. Details here. Even cooler, Suzanne Collins will there at 2pm the same day, so a big YA trilogy bonanza, if you want to come on down.
WISCONSIN - I'll be visiting a school and recording an appearance on Wisconsin Public Radio. More details soon.
SEATTLE - I'll be visiting some schools here (almost my hometown!), visiting Amazon and also doing a public signing at Third Place Books in Lake Forest on Thursday, 7 October from 4-5pm (who are also reading Knife as part of their Teen Book Club). Great to see some folks from home there, if you can make it.
PORTLAND, OR - And finally, I'll be appearing twice at Wordstock Literature Festival in Portland on Saturday, 9 October, once on a panel from noon-1pm with LK Madigan and Conrad Wesselhoeft, and then in a solo event from 5-6pm. Tickets don't seem quite available just yet, but I'll keep you posted.
Mostly I'm writing this summer, but there are a couple things to watch out for:
I'm going to be at Foyle's bookshop on Charing Cross Road on Thursday, 22 July, 6.30-8.30pm for the launch of Losing It, to which I've contributed a brand new short story (first review here!). To get a FREE ticket, just email events@foyles.co.uk. Even though it's for Losing It, I'll also happily sign copies of Monsters of Men, too. Hope to see you there!
And on Sunday, 22 August, 4.30-5.30, I'll be appearing at the Edinburgh Book Festival talking about Monsters of Men. Tickets go on sale for that 26 June. Hope to see you there!
